The Amazing Dream...a must read!!!
Two weeks ago I had a crazy dream.
Dream:
I was talking with one of my friends, and we were having a discussion about our kids. Then, we started looking at pictures of Russia. These pictures were from a trip that a Humanitarian Group (affiliated with our agency) took in August of '05. There were pictures of many beautiful children and then all of the sudden we flip to a picture and there is Curly Q. I say, look that's CQ!!! That's all I remember of the dream.
Rewind back almost 2 years ago.
Reality:
I was getting ready to submit my dossier and couldn't wait to look at the pics that the Humanitarian Group had taken of children from the region that we got our son from. When they got back we viewed the pictures and looked at all of the wonderful pics of items purchased for the Orphanage and only a few pics of kids were shown on the slide show presentation. Our agency is always very very careful not to show pictures and to respect the laws of not showing photos of the children. So, before I finished the slide show there was a picture of a really little one in a baby-bouncer-seat. She was sooo cute. I was momentarily drawn to the pictures, but had forgotten about it b/c I knew that I couldn't look at a picture and immediately ask the agency for THAT child. Also, I was told that she was very young and it would be too long before she was off the registry...since I thought we would be done with our adoption in 6-8 months(ha, ha, ha!!!)
My brain MUST HAVE processed that picture and I actually had a dream about it a few nights ago. WHY? Who knows.
So, just on a whim, I called a friend (the one in my dream) that knew where the photos were from the humanitarian trip of '05, and I and asked if she remembered the picture and she did.
She was able to locate that picture and GUESS WHAT?
It's her! Curly Q at 3.5 months.
I couldn't believe my eyes and certainly can't believe that a dream would lead me to an early picture of my daughter. I am so excited, but at the same time kind of freaked out about how this transpired. Wow!
Anyone else have some amazing dream stories? Or at least some that have come true like this one?

That's wild! And how wonderful to have such an early photo of her.
I don't have any dreams that have come true, but I'm working on it. I had a wonderful dream back in December where I was in touch with my Russian son and had a son here. I'm doing my best to make that come true!
That is amazing! ...and great to get such an early pic of her.
